”Bughi, in sight, the protest enclosed in the depth of existence, is the fate of women now depicted.
Happy or depressed, silent or immersed in the dream … living in a space with no escape from it, as if not likely to change their destiny. The sad allegory of these faces is dominant.
Exaggeration and metamorphosis are not the elimination of femininity, but the removal of a mask of a doll – a type that has been imposed on them. In re-engineering images of lines, colours, forms are transformed to preserve what‘s left to gain more power. Rebuilding the world with the most intense visual vocabulary to reflect the pain you feel in your veins, is a journey into the depths of existence to discover the personality of those around us. Perhaps we are looking for our identity.”
